Therapy that fits around your week.
Plenty of people decide against counselling for a reason that has nothing to do with therapy. The hours do not work. Taking a weekday afternoon means time off work, using leave you were saving or trying to find cover you cannot arrange. So the idea gets shelved, and the thing you wanted help with carries on.
We offer weekend appointments for exactly this reason. Nothing about the session is different. The same fifty minutes, the same rooms at The Old Arts College, the same therapists, the same free conversation before you commit. The only difference is the day it happens on.
Weekend places are limited by how many our therapists can offer, so there may be a short wait for a particular time. We will always tell you honestly where things stand.
Same therapy, a better hour.
Is this for me?
Weekend sessions tend to suit people in a particular situation rather than with a particular difficulty. Some of what we hear:
- I cannot take time out of the working day
- My shifts change week to week and weekdays are unpredictable
- I do not have leave available to take time off in the week
- I want therapy at a time when I am less busy and have the space to process how I feel
- Childcare makes weekdays impossible, but weekends are manageable
- I have tried to book therapy before and the times never worked
- I commute, and by the time I am home everything has closed
What a weekend session gives you
The therapy itself is the same. What changes is what it costs you to get there:
- A regular time you can actually keep, week after week
- No need to take time off work or rearrange commitments
- Time afterwards to sit with the session rather than rushing back to a desk
- The choice of our Loughborough rooms or online, whichever suits the day
- The same therapists, the same approach, and the same rates as any other day
Our spaces
We provide counselling and psychotherapy services in person in our Loughborough space and online for clients anywhere in the UK.

We’re easily reachable by bus. Bus stop AA (Ashby Square) is right outside with regular buses from Leicester, Shepshed, Birstall, Rothley, Mountsorrel, Quorn and Ashby-de-la-Zouch. This stop is also served by local KinchBus services, including buses every 10 minutes from Loughborough Railway Station and Loughborough University. Skylink Derby/Leicester and buses to Nottingham also stop less than 5 minutes walk away on Derby Road and Baxter Gate.
Visiting us by car
There are a number of car parks within a couple of minutes walk. Sainsbury’s on Ashby Road offers up to 2 hours free parking, as does Regents Place Retail Park. Paid parking is also available at Packe Street and Granby Street car parks, whilst on-street parking is available in the surrounding area after 6pm.
Our counsellors
Not everyone on our team works weekends, so the choice is smaller than it is midweek. You can see who does on our counsellors page: the weekend filter shows you at a glance.
As with any enquiry, we will talk through what you are looking for first and match you with someone suitable. If the right therapist for you does not work weekends, we will say so rather than pretend otherwise.
